Custom Home Builds

Built Your Way

We don't build homes off a template. Every Diamond D home is designed around what you want, built on your land — whether you need help finding it through our real estate team or already own your lot — by a team that manages every trade from clearing through final walkthrough.

From Raw Land to Move-In Ready

A lot of builders hand you over to subs the moment concrete is poured. We stay on site. Our team — the same people you meet at the start — handles every phase, from breaking ground to finish carpentry. That continuity is why our projects come in cleaner, faster, and with fewer surprises.

  • Site selection and land evaluation assistance
  • Lot clearing, grading, and septic/utilities coordination
  • Foundation types: slab, pier-and-beam, basement
  • Full framing, roofing, windows, and exterior systems
  • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-in and finish
  • Insulation, drywall, paint, flooring, and all interior finish work
  • Cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and hardware
  • Landscaping, driveway, and exterior grading

What Sets Us Apart

We Work On Your Land

Whether you already own acreage or need help finding the right lot in East Texas, we start the conversation there.

You Choose the Details

Countertops, flooring, fixtures, exterior finish — we walk you through every selection. No guessing, no surprises.

Our Crews, Not Subs

We use our own people on the critical work. That means accountability at every phase, not just when the GC shows up.

Timeline You Can Count On

We build a schedule at the start and we work to keep it. You'll always know where we are and what's next.

East Texas Knows East Texas

Building in Angelina, Nacogdoches, or Cherokee County means dealing with East Texas clay soil, high humidity, and the occasional severe storm season. We've been building here long enough to know what works — and what fails five years after the builder drives away.

That means engineered slabs with moisture barriers sized for expansive clay, spray foam insulation that handles both heat and humidity, and roofing systems rated for the Gulf-influenced weather patterns that roll through the Pineywoods from May through October. Every material choice we recommend is driven by what performs long-term in this specific region, not just what's cheapest to install.

We're also familiar with the permit and inspection process through Angelina County and surrounding jurisdictions. Most of our clients don't have to navigate that at all — we handle it. If you want to learn about Texas residential construction standards, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation maintains current contractor licensing requirements, and IRC building codes set the baseline for residential construction statewide.
